Lexington Craft Beer Festival

The Red Mile and the Brewers Of Central Kentucky Homebrew Club ( B.O.C.K. ) are organizing the first Lexington Craft Beer Festival . Information can be found at www.bockbrew.com . There will also be The Bluegrass Cup Homebrew Competition .

Festival Information
General
The festival will be held on the grounds of the historic Red Mile horse racetrack in Lexington, KY. The festival will occur rain or shine and will be moved indoors in the event of inclement weather. The address is 1200 Red Mile Road; Lexington, KY; 40504.
Date
Saturday, May 16, 2009. Festival starts at 4PM. Beer pouring ends at 7PM.
Tickets ARE NOW AVAILABLE
Tickets will be $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door. This gets you beer samples and lots of great food.

Designated driver tickets will be available for $10 at the door. This entitles you to great food and any non-alcoholic drinks.

Beers -We will have over 170 different commercial beers for sampling.

Music ------Live blues will be provided by G. Busy and the Blues Revue.

Food--------Award winning BBQ, Louisiana Jambalaya, and roast pig will be prepared by Bayou Bluegrass Catering. Menu subject to change.

Sober Rides-------Rent-A-Driver will be providing sober rides home for attendees. They pack a folding bicycle in your trunk, drive your car home for you, then bike back to their next pickup.

Charities- A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to ReRun, Inc and the Kentucky Equine Humane Center, both organizations to find new homes for horses.
