2010 Beef Retail & Foodservice Symposium in Lexington , KY

This past week I attended the 2010 Beef Retail & Foorservice Symposium at the ES Good Barn on the UK campus . This event was organized by the Kentucky Beef Council www.kybeef.org and they had a great program including beef cutting demonstrations, presentations by cattle producers , hands on opportunities to work with beef , discussions with chefs, and some great market research presented by John Lundeen of the National Cattleman's Association www.beef.org .

Table Three Ten Wine Bar in Lexington planned

A new wine bar is in the works for Lexington with a scheduled May opening . Here is some details from Krim Boughelam who will own it with his wife Adrea Sims


The name is TABLE THREE TEN, 310 west short street.It will be a wine bar, with an emphasis on local seasonal food, cheese and charcuterie. the menu will be weekly using seasonal product.The wine will be focus in bourgogne, cotes du rhones.A cheese and charcuterie and oyster bar will be featured.Food will be cooked using a wood burning oven.The decor will highlight the original beauty of the space, which was built in the early 19th century and is one of the oldest buildings in downtown lexington. The opening should be at the end of may.
