From the Ground Up: First Annual Louisville Food Summit Metro United Way 334 E Broadway Louisville, KY 40202 This day will reflect the flow of our food from "farm to table" and encourage dialogue between all parties involved in each step to create a synergy that will work to begin efforts to improve Louisville's food system. Slow Food Bluegrass will be an exhibitor.
Join us Saturday, April 18 and Sunday April 19 for Art in the Garden: The 46th Annual Farmington Plant Sale and Louisville Artisans Guild Spring Fair. A wide selection of vegetables, herbs, annuals and perennials, are featured in the Sale, which will be held behind the Farmington Museum House adjacent to the historic Anne Bruce Haldeman garden. Hours will be 9:00-3:00 both days. New for this year Farmington has partnered with the LAG for their Spring Art Fair. The Fair will consist of juried artists featuring jewelry, textiles, pottery, stained glass and more. Hours will be 10:00-5:00 Saturday and 12:00-5:00 Sunday. Attendance is free. There will be food and refreshments for sale provided by Slow Food Bluegrass. Farmington will continue its preorder tradition. Please call for an order form.
